Storyline 360: Working with the Player
In Storyline, the term “player” refers to the frame around your slide content. It holds navigation features, including the menu, seekbar, previous and next buttons, and more.
You get to choose which navigation features are added to your player, and you can customize the colors, fonts, and text labels. You can even turn off the player for a chromeless design when you want to use your own navigation buttons. Learn how to customize your player below.
Modern and Classic Styles
Exclusively in Storyline 360, you can choose the all-new modern player or the classic player. The following table gives a brief comparison of the two styles. Click here to learn more.

The modern player is responsive. It scales smoothly to fill learners’ browsers on every screen, large and small. |
The classic player, like the modern player, is responsive on mobile devices, adapting to each tablet and smartphone screen. On desktop computers, however, the classic player isn’t responsive. |
All modern player features are supported on desktop computers and mobile devices. |
