Practice Activity: Add an Interaction to a Player Tab

You can also add quizzes and interactions to your course player, meaning they'll appear as tabs on the player. When learners click a tab, a quiz or interaction will open in a lightbox on top of your course.

Add quizzes and interactions to player tabs when you want learners to be able to access them from any slide. For example, you might add an FAQ interaction to your course player, so the information is always easily accessible to learners throughout the course.

Let's add an interaction to our course as a player tab.

  1. Open the PowerPoint folder in your practice files, then open the Presenter_Practice1.pptx file in PowerPoint.
  2. Go to the Articulate tab on the PowerPoint ribbon and click Engage Interaction.
  3. Select Player Tabs on the left edge of the window.
  4. Click Create New on the right side of the window and select Engage Interaction.
  5. Choose an interaction type, enter a name in the Interaction Title field, and click OK.
  6. When Engage 360 opens, edit the interaction as you'd like or keep the default content, then click Save and Return to Presenter on the ribbon.
  7. Preview your interaction by going to the Articulate tab on the ribbon and clicking Preview. Then click the player tab that represents the interaction you just created.
