Hey all, I was creating a quick tutorial today and after publishing I noticed my mouse pointer wasn't in the right spot at all when viewing the video. Is this a known issue and is there a fix? https://360.articulate.com/review/content/96f57ac5-a468-43e7-a42d-aca612122831/review87Views0likes63CommentsNeed to record audio internally, not through the microphone
I'm attempting to create a "Record Screen" Replay project but running into issues with audio. I want to record the audio from the source (my Storyline output)and not theexternal microphone built into my laptop. Is this possible? Thanks in advance!69Views0likes95CommentsNo System Audio
I am trying to screen record a short video clip on-line so that I can clip it into an e-learning course. I can't see an option to capture the system audio, only the microphone audio on the laptop, which is useless because it is also picking up all the background sound. Any ideas?68Views0likes4CommentsPixelated Video in Replay
When I open a video in replay, the image is distorted and pixelated. Thankfully when I published the video as an MP4, it's fine. But I can't see anything when looking in Replay. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Replay and that seems to have worked in the short term (about 2 weeks ago). But opening Replay today is showing the same issue. I don't want to have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling Replay. I have attached an image for reference.58Views0likes36CommentsReplay : record sound at same time as screen recording
Hi, I am trying to make a screen recording of a video, but can only caprure the video, and no sound. I can only find microphone settings, but I really only want to also catch the sound from the video itself. What do I need to do?50Views0likes4CommentsHow to export audio from the recorded video using Replay?
I have done a screen recording using articulate replay. After publishing the video doesn't look very good but the audio is good. Now I want to export my audio and keep and delete the video. So that I can use that audio if I need it. Please help me doing this.46Views0likes18CommentsReplay - Published MP4 has audio but no visual, just blank screen
Hi all, Since Christmas I have had issues using Replay. We record sessions on Zoom and use the MP4 file to import into Replay, crop the beginning and end of the video (sometimes sections in the middle), then publish as an MP4 file. Very minor editing therefore and occasionally I might change the volume, but again nothing major. I then insert this file into Rise. Previously, this worked without issue and there were no problems with the final MP4 file. But since Christmas I have been unable to get the majority of our videos to work. I am using the exact same laptop, with exactly the same settings, and using Zoom files in exactly the same way. In Replay, the changes I am making are reflected in what I see on the screen and both the audio and visual elements work perfectly. I then publish as an MP4 file. In the published MP4, the audio plays exactly as I have cropped it, but the screen is blank throughout the recording. At the beginning of the year I searched the help forums and found that renaming files can affect the output, so I now keep the original file titles. This didn't solve the problem and I had to switch to cropping it in Storyline, which is vastly inferior to Replay for this. On Wednesday (29 May), my first attempt at a video for several months worked perfectly first time, so I assumed the problem had been fixed. The second video I edited on the same day – in exactly the same way - reverted to the same issue. I again searched the help forums and, based on various support and user responses, have tried the following:- - Checked that hardware acceleration is enabled - it is, file attached - Checked for updates on video driver – is already up to date - Inserted content before video recording in case screen size was an issue (even though working from Zoom file and not screen capture) - Used naming convention identical to published videos that had been successful -Tried using VLC media player to play MP4 file rather than Windows Media Player – issue same on both - Repaired Replay (uninstalled, restarted laptop, reinstalled) Can you please advise what else I can try? I don’t understand how the same laptop and software can suddenly stop working, especially when the project in Replay is working correctly. The Zoom files are also recorded by the same two people in the same ways. If it had stopped working permanently it would also make more sense than the two videos on Wednesday producing completely different results.43Views0likes1CommentDelayed Audio in Replay 360
Hello, I am creating a video/screen recording with Replay 360. Both the screen and the audio seem to record fine, but when I play it back the audio is sometimes delayed. The audio wavelengths will show on the audio line, but during playback it doesn't start playing the audio right away. The playback would start in the middle of a word. In the attached image, I highlighted the audio that will not playback in purple. This occurred in a few places throughout the recording. It was also pretty inconsistent. The audio may play fine in one section, but if I trim part of the clip directly before the audio, the beginning of the trimmed clip will then cut out when I play it back. I published the file to see if it was a preview/playback error and the audio delay was present in the published file as well. I also tried recording the audio separately from the screen recording, but it did the same thing. The beginning would show wavelengths, but the audio itself would not start right away. I also attached a short test video I created. The first word I say "Testing," is cut off.41Views0likes1Comment
