Images in Tables for Rise 360
This feature seems so basic that it's frustrating why it is not already an option. Just adding my support for the ability to include images in tables. As a feature requested from many people over many years, it would make a lot of people happy. Thank you!9Views0likes0CommentsAuthor field in Rise 360 to be whoever I want it to be
I wonder how many people publish Rise courses with themselves as the author? I don't because I don't come up with the raw content. My SMEs write it, I then turn their content into eLearning but that doesn't make me the author. The functionality in Rise is that it either shows me as the author or nothing at all. There should be a setting under Theme/Lesson headers where I can add the name of the actual author, or their team, and an optional avatar.48Views5likes2CommentsDefaults
I'm forever adding similar content to Rise courses. Can you add a global settings page so editors can set the default block styles/settings. For example, for bullet point lists, I always want a small bullet indent and it to be a bulleted list style. For Image & Text, I don't want the click to zoom. For Notes, I want font size of 17. For caption text, I want font size of 15. ... It would save a tonne of time.7Views1like0CommentsCrop-to-Shape option in Rise
Please add functionality to crop images to different shapes. For example, to align with my organization's brand, I often need to round the corners of rectangle images in PowerPoint or Storyline, export them as a PNG, and upload them to the Rise block. It would save me a lot of time to be able to edit image shapes within Rise, and it would add another avenue of customization to the platform.12Views1like0CommentsHave two names for PDF docs in Rise - backend vs frontend
Hello! I wasn't sure what to search to see if this was already suggested by other members of the community. Sorry if it was! Anywho, is it possible to have two names for PDF docs in Rise? As in, is it possible to not have your file's name listed in Rise when you upload a doc using the Multimedia block? For example, when I'm translating content from English to Japanese in Rise and need to include a Japanese job aid, it would be nice to keep the file name in English but provide a custom name for users to see in Rise - "Accessing the SharePoint library" is the name of the job aid in my files and I upload it to Rise; however, I can translate that to Japanese on the external, user-facing side so Japanese users see the name in Japanese. As an English-speaker this would really help me when it comes time to update or replace. I can also see this being helpful when you need to update different versions - users see "Accessing the SharePoint library" but, on the backend, I see "Accessing the SharePoint library v3". Thanks!8Views0likes0CommentsRise: Text to Speech Function
Hello, After countless hours of importing the TTS that I have created in Storyline into Rise to promote accessibility and provide learners with a different way of experiencing the content I build, would this be possible to implement as a feature within Rise? The standard TTS or the new AI version could be added, and could potentially auto generate text to speech for the entire page, or to the next continue button or divider. Adding the ability to correct and edit the text later for any acronyms that don't sound quite right would also be helpful. I believe it would massively speed up the time to create content for other users who may well be doing the same thing, along with all of the other AI features.26Views2likes0CommentsSelective Interaction Completion on Rise
Rather than having the options to lock a 'continue' block at the end of a section with either 'all interactions' or 'the one directly above', it would be very helpful to be able to select which interactions must be completed in order for the learner to be able to continue. Without the ability to add in a voiceover in Rise (a feature I would also like implemented, along with a lot of people over the last 6+ years!!!) I would like to add in an audio block at the beginning of each section, for people to listen to a page voiceover if they would like to. However, I am unable to do this, as the continue block is locked until completion of all interactions and that includes playing the complete audio within this. Having the ability to untick this, as well as other non-mandatory interactions, but keeping others mandatory for completion would help me to make my work far more accessibility compliant.8Views1like0CommentsAdd additional options to Rise Restricted Navigation settings
Make the Restricted Navigation setting in Rise to have multiple options, such as: Always, First Time Only, Never, maybe an option to add a number instead, etc. This would address the issue many designers have where they need to restrict navigation for first time completion, but allow for open navigation for review/refresher purposes after that.7Views0likes0CommentsBack button from Rise lessons to contents outline page
One UI improvement that would reduce disorientation (losing my place in my mental map of what I am currently doing) would be for Rise to take me back from a lesson to my previous scroll position on the contents page so that I wouldn't have to scroll around to relocate where I was before I entered a lesson. It seems like a small thing, but it's big in terms of work flow and efficiency.8Views0likes0CommentsCharacters in Scenario block
Bein able to add illustrated characters to scenario blocks in Rise, instead of only photographic characters. When the overall look is rather illustrated, i.e. by using Vyond created videos it would be nice to keep the visuals throughout the course and not suddenly use photographic characters in interaction.31Views2likes0Comments
