Hi, I have noticed that in the Theme Colour settings, you can only choose the main theme colour. I think it would be a major advantage to be able to set that colour in addition to two (2) or more complementary colours. The additional colours that are available have been selected by the Rise system and these are not appropriate in most cases. Most organisations will have more than one (1) colour in their logo or style guides and Rise users should able to preselect these colours so they appear in the Block colour selection list. It seems a shame that Articulate dictates what colours appear in the block colour selection list. I understand that all colours are available using the custom selector, however I am talking about colours that should be appearing in the default selection list as per the attached image. This would facilitate a more streamlined and efficient workflow for Rise users. I have been using Rise almost every work day for the past 5 years in my role as Senior eLearning Developer for prominent players in the Australian VET sector developing critical training programs for heavy industries. From my perspective, this addition to Rise would be invaluable and should be considered by Articulate. Regards, Tony Thomas8Views0likes1CommentContinue Completion Type
Rise currently allows users to add a continue button, and then customize whether they would like for the continue button completion type to either be: Free Continue when learner completes block directly above Continue when learner completes all blocks above I have run into situations where I have optional interactions that I do not want to force my learners to complete, but there are other blocks that are necessary to complete. I usually have to either remove optional interactions and keep them as required or keep the continue button free and hope learners take all the interactions. I think it would be a great idea to provide a "custom" option for the completion type of a Continue button that allows you to select which blocks are required to continue. Similar to the block selection of creating a new block template.12Views1like1CommentSelective Interaction Completion on Rise
Rather than having the options to lock a 'continue' block at the end of a section with either 'all interactions' or 'the one directly above', it would be very helpful to be able to select which interactions must be completed in order for the learner to be able to continue. Without the ability to add in a voiceover in Rise (a feature I would also like implemented, along with a lot of people over the last 6+ years!!!) I would like to add in an audio block at the beginning of each section, for people to listen to a page voiceover if they would like to. However, I am unable to do this, as the continue block is locked until completion of all interactions and that includes playing the complete audio within this. Having the ability to untick this, as well as other non-mandatory interactions, but keeping others mandatory for completion would help me to make my work far more accessibility compliant.16Views1like1CommentFind and Replace captions in bulk.
Hello, We should be able toupdate/fix captions in bulk, like using the Microsoft classic CTRL+F > Replace in Sotryline and Rise. In large projects, often, we have to develop hundreds of audio files with captions and, often, we might make mistakes or, even more common, we have to type some words differently (specially acronyms) to the TTS can read them properly, but then your captions will be incorrect, matching how you had to type them in order to have the TTS read them properly. Fixing this type of thing is so, so time consuming, so having a "Find and replace" function in captions would be absolutely great. Premire Pro does that, so I assume Captivate does it too. I am not a software engineer, but it seems like a not so hard feature to add.3Views0likes0CommentsAI Quiz Generation based on multiple Rise360 courses
It would be great to generate a quiz either based on multiple PDF documents (published from Rise360 courses) or otherwise directly on multiple existing Rise360 courses? What I am aiming for is an AI generated certification quiz after completing multiple Rise 360 courses.10Views0likes1CommentRise Assessment Feedback Review
I cannot seem to find an in-built method of allowing a learner to review an assessment once they have passed it. I do not want to include feedback while undertaking an assessment, as I do not want to make a subsequent attempt too easy and allow for learners brute forcing their way through. However, once the learner has completed and (crucially) passed the assessment, it would be very useful if they could then review their answers in full to find out any questions they got wrong, as well as their correct answers.9Views1like0Comments
