Hi everyone, I’m currently designing a global e-learning module for a large company and I’m aiming for a very clean, minimalist, Google-inspired interface. I have a row of five rounded cards and would like to achieve a specific micro-interaction: When a user hovers over a card, the image inside should smoothly but slightly zoom in, but the outer dimensions (the container) of the card must stay exactly the same to keep the grid stable. Basically the same effect that is found here on the Google Website: https://about.google/intl/de_ALL/ Perhaps there is an easy workaround, but for me always the whole picture is growing out of the borders. Thanks in advance for your help! 🙂171Views0likes2CommentsRecreate Rise Process in Storyline
Hi All I'm not sure if anyone will be able to help as I haven't been able to find any examples (that I understand) online. I'm trying to recreate the the Process block that's in Rise but in Storyline. I was trying to use the motion path but I can't quite get my head around the triggers needed for it to work properly. Does anyone have any examples or tutorials they could share? I've attached my file so that you can see what I'm trying to achieve. Thank you.58Views0likes2CommentsArcher voice has changed in Rise 360
From around 4pm UK time yesterday I noticed that the standard Archer voice has changed its tone and I wondered if it is effecting anyone else or just me. We are building content in Rise 360 and are using the AI voice generator to create narration in certain blocks. We always use the following voice, but yesterday it seemed to change and I don't know why. Archer - Conversational Male | Middle-aged | Dialogue | Fine-tuned for conversation... As a workaround to try retain the same voice I am having to create the narration using the same voice in Storyline 360, raise the volume by 50% to match Rise 360, export as an audio file, and then import into Rise 360. Is this issue affecting anyone else, and does anyone know how to resolve it please?45Views0likes1CommentNew in Storyline 360: Round score percentage option
Most of the hype around Storyline releases lately has centered on AI features. While AI is an area we're focused on, we understand that there are other ways to add value. Sometimes we ship something far less flashy that solves a very real, very common pain point in a simple way. We just added a "Round quiz score percentage" option in Quiz Settings. Check this new option, and the score percentage automatically rounds to a whole number. No more 84.7% when you really want 85%. If you’ve been around Storyline for a while, you know this has been a long-standing request. I’ve always appreciated how the community shares JavaScript trigger workarounds to fill the gap. That creativity is part of what makes Storyline special. At the same time, you should not have to break out JavaScript just to round a number. The attached gif shows exactly where to find the new option in the Quiz Settings dialog. When you’ve had a chance to try it, I’d love to hear: - Does this cover your quiz score rounding needs? - Are there other “small but annoying” workarounds we could eliminate? The little things matter. Keep them coming.59Views2likes0CommentsEmbed Youtube Video - Error 153
Hello, Has something changed in Storyline?! I'm trying to embed a YouTube video using "iframe". I'm copying the embed code from YouTube, but it says 'Watch video on Youtube - Erro 153...'. I used: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/dqaN76shzJE?si=F_NwSZruLu5BJAU6" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe> Any/all help would be appreciated. I am wondering if there are any sample templates for a tooth brushing activity for kids. No assessment just a fun was to teach kids how to brush their teeth. My vision is a "dirty" yellow teeth....the kids would click and drag a toothbrush over the teeth. Move it around a few times with the brushing sound effect. and the results are a clean teeth. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks47Views0likes1CommentHow to Master Articulate Storyline for Interactive E-Learning Projects?
Hi everyone, I’ve been working with articulate storyline recently while developing interactive e-learning modules, and I’ve noticed that many beginners struggle to move beyond basic slide creation. While articulate storyline is incredibly powerful, especially with triggers, states, layers, and variables, understanding how to combine these elements effectively is where most learning designers face challenges. For example: When should you use layers vs. new slides? How do you structure variables in articulate storyline for complex branching? What’s your approach to keeping large storyline projects organized? From my experience, mastering articulate storyline becomes much easier when you focus first on logic building rather than visual design. Once you understand triggers and conditions deeply, creating advanced interactions feels more intuitive. I’m curious to know: What helped you become confident in articulate storyline?53Views0likes1Comment
