E-Learning Heroes Challenge: 5-Minute Makeover
For this challenge, I gave a small interaction a quick refresh. The goal was to make the design more appealing and add a few interactive elements to improve engagement. I focused on small enhancements that make the experience feel a little bit more dynamic. Although I went way over 5 minutes on these Workplace Violence: Run, Hide, Fight knowledge-checks, I still wanted to showcase my work for this challenge! This project was assigned to me 3 years ago, when I was still learning Articulate Storyline. It's been great to see my growth in this challenge. To make this timely, I did not change much in the animation on Vyond but instead focused on the design and accessibility of each interaction for learners. I'm working on a project to take 30-minute monthly safety meeting content into interactive e-learning modules. While we'll continue to offer that content in the daily stand-up mode when the team meets, we also have this option for employees to take if they missed the meeting, refresh on topics, and test their skills at an individual level. This excerpt is from a module on Fire Extinguisher Use and Fire Safety. We're testing the critical thinking of the learner in addition to their understanding of the fire safety regulations.
