Articulate Presenter 360 - problems with german umlaut
Hello Forum, we have to rework an older presenter training. The training is in german and as soon as an umlaut is used the text is no longer displayed or becomes very tiny. Does anyone have an idea, or even better, a solution? My presenter version is: v8.33.31612.0 I am using MS Office 360. BR, RomanEngage Interaction still generates .swf in Storyline web output
Our content management system validates output content that we upload to block anything with Flash (.swf). While we don't built as much with Engage as we used to, we have discovered that when we add an Engage interaction into a Storyline project, then export as Web output, our CMS rejects it. Poking through the zip file, we discovered a TON of .swf files lingering in there. WHY?? We're well beyond the world of Flash now. HTML5 rules, right? Why does .swf need to be in there? We have validated that we are using the latest versions of Storyline and Engage 360. In our research and testing, it appears that Storyline adds this, as the Engage content on its own doesn't seem to contain the swf when it is exported separately without Storyline involved. Any plans for Articulate to address this? We can't maintain existing Engage content because our IT department refuses to remove the Flash validation on the CMS for security reasons. Just for fun, we tried putting the Engage interaction into Rise and exporting the web output there. Same result.Try This for Presenter Hanging on Temp File Cleanup
Over the past couple weeks in re-publishing 14 older courses originally done in Studio 13, and allowing Studio 360 to do in-place upgrade of course content and quizzes, I ran into many fails at "Cleaning Up Temporary Files" final step in publishing. Error message popup stating that a xxx.json file could not be accessed due to being open in another process. It is always a file with a number (ex 431.json) in the output mobile folder. I don't know what it is or why it fails there. There are other posts that identified Smart Art not converted to pictures. I found through a couple weeks of trial an error some things that I did and got successful publish. Your mileage may vary, but if you are stuck, might as well try. Animated GIF...I had some that were made inop at conversion (1st frame only shows) and when removed, the course published. Graphics that were in text boxes. on deleting a graphic, an empty text box left over. Replace with a screen shot jpg of the image and it published. In some cases there were up to around 10 empty transparent text boxes on top of each other to remove. Strip out all speaker notes using document inspector (file, info, inspect) Powerpoint tables- in some cases replace the table with a screen shot worked. In one case uninstall and reinstall studio and A360, and in-between cleaning all remaining temp and cache. Support has a batch file Good luck. Annoying but beatable.Presenter 360 - Where is Menu?
Is there a way to transplant my custom menu to the new PPTA? I ran into the issue of crashing in Presenter when publishing certain upgraded courses that were originally made in Presenter 13. Some could be salvaged by getting rid of a certain animated GIF, but others I need to rebuild in a new PPTX and bring in the slides. What I don't want to do on large courses, is re-do all the menu title names. I want to re-name the PPTA into zip and transplant whatever content file controls the custom menu titles. I can see all the guts of the PPTA, but nothing, not even the XML player files, look like they have the menu entries where I could swap it out. Has anyone tried to implement confidence-based assessment, or certainty-based marking in Quizmaker.Confidence-based assessments evaluates the learner for correctness as well as their confidence with respect to the answer.As multiple choice questionsand true/false questions can be guessed it is hard to assess if the learner has guessed the correct answer or if they really know the material being tested. With confidence based assessment you ask how confident the learner was that the answer was the correct answer. I'm currently trying to implement this in regard to testing knowledge of Microsoft Office products e.g Word Excel. Any help would be appreciated. GerReplay Modify Frame Rate yet??
Greetings Heroes! The only thread I can find on this topic was from 9 years ago w the Amazing Ashley T. It seems in this world of HD and 4K, Replay still only has a "best" fps setting of 15? Hello folks, I'm hoping someone has had a similar situation and been able to find a solution. I have quizzes that contain multiple choice questions. There have been reports from students that are sometimes unable to select an answer choice. The blue highlight bar that normally appears while hovering over an answer choice does not appear and when clicking on an answer choice it is not selected (i.e. the radio button does not show that it has been selected). Interestingly everything else that can be clicked in the quiz works, including the volume slider, previous and next buttons, and the question list dropdown menu. The quizzes are delivered via an LMS and are published in QM'13 using SCORM 2004, 4th ed. I don't believe the problem to be a browser issue as I've switched browsers and the same problem occurs. What's makes this even more difficult to solve is that it only happens intermittently. Most students are able to get through the same quizzes with no problems. Any ideas? Would you lean towards this problem being caused by the LMS or a glitch in QM'13? Thanks for any feedback any of you might be able to provide. Best, Steven"Online presentations aren't supported"
I like keeping all of my development files in my OneDrive Folder. However, Articulate Presenter won't allow this as shown by the error msg below. Has anyone found a workaround? Are there any plans to fix this situation? Technically it is saved to my local drive: (C:\Users\wfindlay\projects\....) Keeping everything in OneDrive makes it much easier to ensure every device has the files I need as a developer.
