I would like to set slides in ppa to only advance by the user (which I am able to accomplish) after a time has been reached. Seems like I can do one but not the other. Is this possible?

Hi, Ken.

I apologize, as it seems I missed that you wanted to advance by user, but only after a certain time.

The information I sent you above is for setting the time to advance the slides automatically.

While you can't have the user advance after a certain time, you can lock the slide so the user can't advance while setting a default time for the slide, then automatically advancing.

So I set to auto and locked. The slides still advance automatically and do not allow the user to advance or go to previous because it is locked. Did I do something wrong here?

My goal here is to make it so the user has to advance on their own, but only after a certain amount of time as past. Does that make sense?

Hello Ken!

Thanks for returning with an update! Yes, that makes sense, but I'm afraid you won't be able to create this is Presenter 360. This sounds like an interaction that you'll want to use Storyline 360 for.

Here's a demo of how you can build this in Storyline 360.

I'm also attaching the .story file of the course to this reply.

Hi Lauren,

We were going with our current presenter and telling our learners to read each slide, but they kept blowing right through it.

So I am transitioning  everything over to Storyline360.

I watched your demo on making the the variables, I am trying to do something like that. I made the trigger:

Make Next button normal when timeline ends.

But how do I get the next button to stay normal if revisited? I tried the variables but I may be doing something wrong.
