I just installed Articulate Presenter on my computer. I'm working with files on my local hard drive. Articulate keeps crashing every time I try to preview or publish. I've scoured these discussion boards and cannot find a solution. How do you fix this?
Welcome to the community! Sorry to hear you're having trouble previewing and publishing.
Since you're already working locally, my hunch is there could be a corrupted slide in your presentation. Are you able to preview a single slide at a time?
If you'd like us to have a closer look, our team is here to help. Simply create an Articulate Package, then send it to us directly by clicking here. We'll test it and let you know what we find!
I created a 15 slide deck. I can preview the Slides 1-5 as a group, 6-10 as a group, and 11-15 as a group, but I can't preview the whole set together. I'd appreciate it if your team can take a closer look. I'm creating an Articulate Package and sending it to you now.
Thanks for sending in your file. Looks like my colleague Vira was able to pinpoint the slide causing trouble, and rebuilding that slide resolved the problem.
If you continue to run into any issues, reply right back to her and we'll continue working with you! Otherwise- good luck with the rest of your project 😄
I am continually having Articulate crash. When I publish the course and then click to create the Zip file, it crashes. If I copy and paste from a word document to Articulate it will crash sometimes. It was so bad that I replaced my PC and thought that had resolved it but it is crashing again. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Sorry to hear that you're having difficulty with this. I could certainly help you out with some troubleshooting if you let me know what software and version you are currently using. If you'd rather work with our support team privately, you can do so here as well.

Oh no Becky! Looks like you may be replying via e-mail, which does not allow attachments to come through. It does allow your email signature to come through though. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.

I will try that but I also wanted to report every time I open an existing course and I highlight some text, right click, click on cut, and go to paste it on the same slide the course will crash.
I am having problems publishing from Presenter. It crashes every time I try to publish (after taking forever). I spent all of yesterday trying to remedy with no luck. I have a very large presentation (107 slides) along with 4 Engage interactions. How do I figure out if a particular slide is corrupted? I have already submitted a case with the file, but have not heard back and am in a time crunch. Please help!
I am having the same problem and very concerned about losing the work i've done thus far. I wasnt able to upload the articulate package because it says it's too big.
I have a dropbox link where I have moved it if someone from Articulate could review it? I could share by email. Thank you
I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!
Have you looked into the suggestions Ashely posted above? I went ahead and opened a support case on your behalf so we can investigate further. You should hear from our team soon via email.

Thanks Becky! Due to your report of crashing I would first advise a repair of your software as that typically alleviates the issue.
I will try that but I also wanted to report every time I open an existing course and I highlight some text, right click, click on cut, and go to paste it on the same slide the course will crash.
Hopefully that repair will take care of all your software crashes.
