There's currently not an Arabic text-to-speech option, but that would make a great feature request! Specifically, which version(s) of spoken Arabic would you need? It would be helpful if you included that detail in the request. Thanks for reaching out!
I'm sorry for the confusion, Karim. Because different dialects are spoken in different countries, we want to get a sense of which dialects are most needed. To clarify, what country are your learners from?
Hi all - just to add to this thread. My organization is looking for text to speech Arabic as well. Global - no particular country. We are soooo wishing you had this.
I'm trying to adapt course translated to Arabic and use Arabic text to speech. I adjusted the player and set right to left text direction, however I'm not able to align text in text to speech to tread from right to left. Arabic voice Zeina will still read the text, however this causes confusion and potential issues with punctuation and subsequently the meaning is lost .
Have you already made this change? I'm happy to take a look at your file! You can share it in this discussion by using the "add attachment" button. Or if you prefer to share the file privately, use this link and our Support Engineers will look into the snag!

I do have right-to-left keyboard input language installed on my PC and had no issues with Arabic text alignment in Notes or slides. However, in TTS screen left-to.right seems to be the only option and I'm not able to change it (right-to-left button on home tab is visible but as read only).
Hello, Petar. Appreciate you sending in your file privately for troubleshooting!
For those following along who might be facing a similar problem: We were able to reproduce this and logged Arabic text is not reading in RTL direction when using Text-to-Speech as a possible bug in Storyline 360.
Thank you for your help in bringing this to our attention. I'll tag this discussion so we can share any new developments here, too!
Hello, Can someone further my knowledge of Arabic language option in Articulate 360? Specifically, is the Arabic associated with a specific dialect of the Arabic language, i.e., Egyptian?
I know many languages have varying dialect, like Portuguese. I need to know which dialect Articulate 360 follows.
Hi, Has the bug where Arabic text is not reading in RTL direction when using Text-to-Speech been fixed? I've imported text translated from English into Arabic into my course and the text is flowing correctly, but the text is read in the wrong direction in the "Insert Text-to-Speech" dialogue box.
Sorry for the trouble! I've tried to recreate this on my end and I'm not having trouble pasting Right-to-Left text in the Text-to-Speech window. I've opened a case on your behalf so that we can take a look at your project file. We'll continue the conversation in your support case!

Hi Petar!
You'll find the right-to-left button on the Home tab of the Storyline ribbon, but it'll only show if you have a right-to-left keyboard input language installed on your computer.

Hi Tom,
The Arabic Text to Speech within Storyline 360 is in its universal form, which is Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).
