Articulate Desktop App

Nov 30, 2023

My institution has a team account and just recently renewed. Since renewal when I open my articulate desktop app, it only shows Articulate Training, Review 360, and Rise 360 but not Storyline, which is what I need. Please advise on how I can get Storyline to reappear.

Hi Amy,

I'm sorry you've hit this snag with the Articulate desktop apps; I'm happy to help!

This is usually resolved by restarting the computer. If the issue persists, please try the following:

  1. Open Task Manager and End process all 360 services, namely, Articulate 360 Desktop services and Articulate 360 Desktop App.
  2. Then, relaunch the Desktop App.

With your permission, we would also like to look at the Articulate 360 logs from your computer to find out what's happening. We'll delete them when we're done troubleshooting. This article explains how to export the logs to a zip file on your desktop. Then, you can upload the zip file privately here, so that our Customer Support Engineers can take a look.

Here are details on what's included with your log files and what we do with the data. Thank you, Amy!

Hi Amy,

I want to share some good news about today's update (Update 83) for Storyline 360! Downloading today's update will permanently fix an issue you recently ran into with the Desktop App section appearing blank after last month's update (Update 82).

The problem originated from our changes to the Articulate 360 Desktop App to introduce the Storyline 64-bit version. Downloading today's update should prevent the problem from happening. Installing the update is super easy; here's how.

Also, today's update delivers another improvement to the Text to Speech feature called SSML support. This allows you to tweak text-to-speech speed, pronunciation, and insert pauses. Click here for the support article.

If you need help with anything else, please let us know here in the E-Learning Heroes Community or privately in a support case. We'll be happy to assist you!
