Dear team, we're experiencing the following issue: the volume of audio increases when published for video output. In this project, text-to-speech audio is inserted. The exported video starts quietly and gets louder with time. The audio option "Select the same volume for all audio" is selected and the audio and video quality are set to "high".
Has anyone experienced a similar issue and knows how to fix it?
Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your published project.
We do have an open issue reported to our team specific to volume increasing on slides created from a screen recording. Is that how your course was originally created as well?
Thank you for confirming, Ewa. I do not have a solution at this time. It is an open issue with our team. I've added this conversation to our report so that we can share any updates with you here.
This is still an open issue with our team, and I'm sorry that I don't have a workaround to share. As my teammate Leslie mentioned previously, we'll circle back here to share any new info. I want to share some insight into how we prioritize bugs here to understand our approach better.
So sorry for the trouble! There hasn't been a fix released yet as our team is currently prioritizing other bug fixes for upcoming releases. When this makes it on the roadmap, we'll update this discussion.
I wanted to add to this thread that I am experiencing the same issue and my video is not from a screen recording. I inserted a professionally created VO audio file MP3 over my storyline build, the audio in the file is perfect on its own and when played while authoring. But every time I publish to video it gets louder and louder throughout. I've played with a few settings and it does it every time. Would love to know what is causing this. I'm going to have to screen capture the module in preview mode in order to create an MP4 without this issue.
Hi Rebecca, and welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community! ✨
I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with your audio getting louder when publishing to Video.
It would be helpful if you could share your audio file with us either publicly here, or privately in a case so we can investigate further? We will delete it from our systems when troubleshooting is complete.

Hi there, any information on the fix? This project is in motion and with a deadline to be published soon. Thanks!

This is happening to me. Has there been a fix for this? It's pretty bad.
