Blurry Images in Preview and Published

I've noticed this for awhile, all of my images I insert into this Storyline 3 course appear quite blurry everywhere - on the Storyline development screens, when previewed and when published (either as HTML5 or Flash).
The images are all smaller than the maximum size, they are at 100% scaling, have no effects applied to them. My Publish settings is set to 100% quality. I've tried bitmaps, pngs, jpgs, all identical blurry results.
I've searched these forums and seen a couple other threads on it , but never found a solution or real explanation for it. I can't send this course over to my client - it's embarrassingly bad.

Tsvety,
Thanks for those extra details. I've reached out to my teammate, Chester, to follow-up with you in your case as soon as possible for further guidance on this course you're working to complete!
Shari,
I'd like to have our team take a look at your file and provide specific help with what you're seeing in regards to the image re-adjustment that's occurring. I've opened a case on your behalf with our team, so someone will reach out soon with next steps!
Hi,
I have only the same problem I have had in the past. There is nothing new to give you.
Shari
Something new about this problem? It's very sad, that this is still a thing :(
When it will be fixed?
Hi, Maciej.
Thank you for reaching out!
Since this is an older discussion, can you please expand a little on what you're experiencing? If you're able to submit a .story file through a support case, we're happy to take a look!
I am having the same issue. Screenshots look blurry when I insert them into Storyline. I used the previous and latest version with no change to the quality. I have followed all the advice, but they look terrible. This needs to be fixed ASAP and it's crazy that this has been an ongoing issue.
I'm so sorry to hear you're struggling with blurry screenshots, Brandon. It was a good call to open a support case for one of our engineers to investigate this further. We'll be in touch with an update soon after reviewing the files you shared!
Hello everyone!
If you're following along and looking for sharp images, I've got great news for you! We just released another update for Articulate 360 and included a few important fixes you'll see in the release notes.
The item you'll be interested in is:
New: Import scalable vector graphics (SVGs) to Storyline 360 so images stay sharp when learners zoom in and out.
Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for Storyline 360. Details here.
Please let us know if you have any questions, either here or by reaching out to our Support Engineers directly.
You have to accept that this issue is universal in all versions of storyline and it has never been sorted by storyline team, despite they ask user to do this and do that but never go to the core of the issue.
Hello Sushil, and welcome to E-Learning Heroes. 😊
We'd be happy to help you. It looks like it's your first post here and I was not able to find any support cases either.
I'd like you to share your project file with our support engineers to investigate what's happening with your permission. You can share it privately by uploading it here. It will be deleted when troubleshooting is complete.
Hi,
You said :
"It's our priority"
"I understand"
"I hear your frustration"
Again and again and again.
So why is it not fixed four years later?
In production (SL360), my pictures are great, really. In Preview and Chrome, they're hideous! It's like I wasn't wearing my glasses. In Firefox, they're not horrible but not as good as in Storyline.
You talked about scaling, resizing, etc., but I already did that and it didn't change anything. I'm so tired to try over and over and over again. Tired to read so many posts with so many no-solutions. And don't tell me "yeah, you can us svg pictures now, it's great" because I have eps pictures and Storyline cannot open it. Inkscape cannot too while Gimp can but not convert them in svg.
We pay a software 1500 $ a year but we have blurry pictures, that's not normal.
Please, please, please! Help us and fix it for real.
True! I agree in 100%.
Hi, all!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 63, we’ve included important fixes and new features.
One of the fixes we’ve included is:
Improved how Storyline 360 handles images during import and in the published output. This will result in crisper images.
To take advantage of this update, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you need additional help!
I am using SL360 v 3.68.28820.0. I have incredibly blurry photos in the canvas mode, preview mode but crisp clear ones in the published mode (published to Review 360). See attachments. Appears it is still a problem with the preview mode even after all these years.
Hi Amy,
I'm sorry you're having an issue with blurry images!
Would you be willing to share your project files here or reach out to our Support Engineers privately in a support case?
Thanks for reaching out!
Hi, I'm using SL 360 v.3.68.28887.0. and have had problems with blurry preview and published images/screenshots. The picture is crisp on the canvas in 100% viewing, but not when previewed or published to web or Review360.
This helped me: Changing from modern player to classic player.
