When a student selects an option in the pick many how do you de-select them. Currently, once a user has selected the option they can not deselect it if they have made a mistake, they have to submit it then try again. is there something I can build in to allow them to deselect?
Thanks, I went back and realised I had triggers to change the text boxes to selected if selected. From your comments I realised I never needed triggers - deleted them and all is working now.

Are you asking about the Freeform Pick Many type of question? If so, by default, the user can click the selected item to unselect it.
If this is not the behavior you're experiencing, are you comfortable sharing the .story file here so we can take a look at what's going on?
