Can you reset an entire scene on revist?
Aug 10, 2015
My course has a table of contents page that allows people to visit the topics (scenes) in any order they wish.
How do I reset an entire scene without resetting the entire story if they want to go back and revisit the material? Some of the scenes are linear and some are not, so I didn't want to select a reset for each page when revisiting because some pages they revisit multiple times during the scene. But after the scene is complete, and they return to the ToC page, resetting the scene would be fine.
Ideas?
Thanks,
Bill

Hi William!
I'm not aware of a way to do this per scene and not sure if someone in the community will be able to assist you with this request.
The Resume feature in Articulate Storyline controls how learners will experience your course if it's viewed more than once. See this tutorial for details.
Hi Leslie,
Since this post is 7 years old, is this now an option? I'm working on a course and added a scene for a game that's actually the assessment. The scene is the jeopardy inspired board game template designed by Sarah, it's here. I want them to be able to retry the game and added the retry button. The problem is that once the learner goes back to the question board slide, all categories are unavailable since they already clicked on it. It would be great to have an option to reset the scene only.
Hi Marci,
Thanks for reaching out about this! Currently, there isn't a way to reset an entire scene in Storyline 360. This would be a great idea for a feature request! You can submit one here. If the request makes it onto our feature roadmap, we’ll make sure to update you in this conversation!
