I add text to the Notes section, click import from slide notes, and check generate closed captions. It is common for some of the text to be missing in the captions after the first line. Could a line space cause the caption generator to miss text? This issue seems to be fairly recent as I didn't seem to have issues last year.
Sorry to hear that you ran into this behavior. Would you be willing to share a copy of your project file with us here or in private by opening a support case so we can replicate and observe the reported behavior to figure out what's happening? We'll delete it as soon as we're done troubleshooting!
This happens to be ALL THE TIME. I use the text from the notes and chunks of text are missing in the CC. I have to manually edit the closed captions to add back the text. Sometimes if there is an Enter in the notes this might happen. It seems to be a consistent "bug".
If any other questions come up and you need further assistance, I'd recommend opening a support case so our talented Support Engineers can assist you further!
This is how I do it: I insert Text to Speech and click Copy from slide Notes. I make sure the Generate Closed Captions is checked and click Insert. With the audio icon selected, I go to Audio Tools Options and click Edit Captions. Then I check the captions and edit as needed. Then I click Save. Any time I make a change to the Text to Speech, I check the captions.

It's not just one file. I have fixed all the instances in my courses, so I recreated the issue in the attached file. thank you for checking into it.

I am wondering if Enter or line space issue.
From the troubleshooting I have done, it seems to happen when there is a line space in Notes. Regardless, I will be vigilant in reviewing captions :).
Thanks for sharing your findings, Microassist! :)
