Final Assessment not passing users correctly

We have run into a major problem with Storyline's assessment. If a user fails to pass the final assessment, the course no longer records a score correctly on their following attempts. Even if users get 100% on the final assessment, the score records a 0%, and fails to give them a completion.

I've tested this in our Docebo environment, and I can replicate this on SCORM cloud. I'm not sure what is going on or how to fix this issue in storyline.

Upon further testing, it seems like course content that was working previously no longer function even in the storyline preview mode. The final assessment variable %Results.ScorePercent% does not seem to display the correct score. But assigning it to another variable, and displaying that variable seems to be ok.

We really need some help on this. I've run out of ideas for what I am doing wrong.
