How to edit the feedback layers for quiz results review option?

Feb 20, 2018

Hello! I have five free-form quiz slides and a results slide. Everything is set up the way I want, colors, animations, custom correct/incorrect feedback layers, etc. When I "review" the quiz slides by clicking a button triggered to review what I got right/wrong, it works fine BUT I have an Incorrect and Correct layer pop up at the bottom of the slides. I want to edit these layers but I can't find where I can do that. The option is NOT in the feedback master slides. I can't find where these layers or slides exist to edit them in Storlyine 360. Any help is much appreciated.

Hi Amanda!

Are you referring to the red and green banner that appears at the bottom of the slide during quiz review?

Although you can't edit the banner, you can cover it with a rectangle shape that matches the background of the slide. Simply add the shape to the 'Review Feedback' feedback master layout. I hope that helps!

Hi Sylvia,

That section is generated automatically upon Review and is pulling from the responses you added as a part of your answer choices.

If you're looking to customize it, you may want to look at creating your own review layer, and the directions here (although more about removing the incorrect/correct banner) would be a great way to start!

Hi Alyssa,

I am using Storyline 3, Jan7, 20 version.  I would like to add shapes to the Review Results slide, which is where I see the Correct/Incorrect banners.

I am guessing that I can do that using the "Review Feedback' feedback master layout" that you mention.  However, I have searched the Slide Masters and the Feedback Masters and I can't find anything that says to me "Here I am".  Can you tell me how to find the Review Feedback master?

Thanks, Rick

Hi, everyone.

I have exciting news to share!
We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 65, we've included important fixes and new features.

One of the features we've included is:

Define theme colors for correct and incorrect quiz elements, such as icons and review banners, to keep your designs consistent.

To take advantage of this feature, launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
