Hi, Franscine.

Thank you for sharing your .story file!

I wasn't able to reproduce the issue on my end: both in Preview and after Publishing for the web, I could see the iPad video playing. Let me ask you a few questions to narrow down the problem:

  • Do you see a green screen after you publish?
  • Which format are you choosing when publishing?
  • Which browser are you using to view the output?

Hi Maria
Thank you for getting back to me.
You are right:

1. When I export the SL to Review the iPad video displays perfectly.

2. Also, when I export the SL as a video and insert in Rise – also good.

3. As a rule, I use Chrome.
This is good news, but how do I get around editing the video in SL because it is still distorting in SL.
Kindest,
Franscine

Hi, Franscine.

I'm not having any issues editing the video in Storyline either.

I have a few questions to narrow down the issue:

Another step to try is to re-insert the video into Storyline after exporting it to your local drive:

Let me know if this works!

Hi Maria
Thanks for your response.
I am working on my hard drive. And, I’ve just uninstalled/reinstalled SL, but the video is still corrupt when I try to edit it.
I don’t know why this is happening. I am working on a project and have not been able to use my ipad training videos.
I appreciate your feedback. Any other suggestions?
Kind regards
Franscine.
