Is there a difference between version 1.32.20313.0 R1 versus 1.50.24668.0 within Articulate 360 and Storyline 360

I hope this message finds you all well?

I'm new to the community, and I have a few questions in relation to the builds relating to the subject matter?

Our organisation is still using the 1.32 and have recently as of the 17th March, received an update indicating that we need to update our version to 1.49.24347.0 or newer. 

I have reviewed the version history for both Articulate 360 and Storyline 360; and found that we are 22 iterations old when compared to 1.50+ for Articulate 360 and 28 iterations for Storyline 360. 

That said:

1. Does our builds in 1.32 affect 1.49 or 1.50 version when we update?

2. Is there anything we should be concerned about?

We are using this application to build courses to be uploaded to our internal organisation's learning management system.
