Slide hangs (on my computer only)

When attempting to preview a scene, I'm able to navigate through slides 2.1 and 2.2.  From this slide I have three options: 2.3, 2.7, and 2.11.  

None of these new slides are anything special.

A few vector graphics, some timing and animation, and audio.  In fact, the primary animation is the same as the one seen on the slide I'm navigating from.

However, 2.7 and 2.11 won't load, as seen in the image.

When I publish this scene and attempt to watch it, the slides appear blank, and the play icon indicates that nothing has started playing.  This issue happens across browsers.

The frustrating part: we weren't able to replicate this issue in a co-worker's computer.  From the same file he was able to both preview the slides and publish.

I realize that this indicates it's my PC's fault, but I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas of where to start troubleshooting?  

Also: I updated Storyline, then uninstalled and reinstalled it. So I should have the most recent release.
