Sorry, you've run into this odd behavior - it looks like it's happening with the preview or published output? How does it appear on the slide while you're editing? Are you seeing this in all your Storyline files, or only this one?
Also, can you check that you're on the latest update of Storyline 360, which isbuild 3.25.18088.0. You can check by going to the "Help" Tab -> "About Articulate Storyline".
Thanks, Fazzi. If you're only seeing this while editing and not in your preview or published output I'd also look at these best practices to prevent the file from misbehaving.
If you're able to share a copy of the .story file, I'm also happy to take a look and investigate further. You can share it publicly here, or send it to our Support Team privately.
I do not see where Fazzi submitted a support case to us, so I do not have an update to share with you.

I am having this same problem, and I *do* have modern fonts disabled. I am going CRAZY. I can only see it once the file is published in 360 Review. I can't see the issue in either edit or review mode.

You mention that you're only seeing the issue when the course is published and not within the project file or when previewing, correct?
Is your player set to "Scale to fill browser window"?
I'm still new to this but think I may have found the issue...? I noticed that there was a blank line at the end of my text which included a tabbed space. As soon as I removed the tab my missing text came back!
Try checking for any additional lines/formatting at the end the content in your text box. Be interested to know if this is the problem :-)
Started having this problem today. came here to check and sure enough, "Use Modern Text" was selected in my Font styles and every text box was cut off on the right hand side. I deselected it and it now works. Can someone explain what "Use modern Text" does? and why is there if it breaks things?
I'm not clear on why this is affecting your course negatively and in following this conversation, I'm unable to track down support cases to dig in deeper.

I just ran into this issue with modern text where parts of my words were being cropped/cut off. What I found fixed the issue was to remove all Tabs from text.
This is still happening, nothing obvious seems to be the cause. I've copy-pasted a text box from one layer to another, moved the copy to the right of the screen and it cuts off part of the text. The same thing happens if I create a new text box.
It does only appear to be in edit mode, the preview looks okay.

Hi Ashley,
i'm on the 3.25 build you noted, and this has actually been happening for a while, across several updates.
This occurs in editing, but doesn't appear in preview.
This has happened across various other projects.
Thanks, Fazzi. If you're only seeing this while editing and not in your preview or published output I'd also look at these best practices to prevent the file from misbehaving.

We’ll delete it when done troubleshooting.
Has a solution been found for this, as I'm currently encountering the same behaviour from Storyline?

Was this resolved? I am having the same issue and I am on the most updated Storyline 360
Are you tabbing at all to create spaces? This tabbing issue was raised over a year ago...
https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/text-in-text-box-seems-to-be-invisible
...and still exists (just tested again) in version 3.33.20697.0

Solution! Connected to the "modern text" feature, which is a new feature.
Go to Design > Fonts and disable the "Use modern texts" option.
Thank you Articulate and John Say!
Thank you so much!! I have been struggling with this over the last few days and your answer solved the problem for me as well.

Cannot see it on Edit mode.
Cannot see it on Preview slide or scene or project mode.
Not sure why my pic got reported...

Hi Rob,
I can certainly share some information about what Modern Text is:

Hey, it would be nice to have a fix to this. When a 'feature' introduces a bug, is it really a feature at all?
I just ran into this issue with modern text where parts of my words were being cropped/cut off. What I found fixed the issue was to remove all Tabs from text.
Haha nice one Jenny I posted this comment above but no-one seemed to notice! Glad it works for you as well!
That worked for me. I only had the problem in Editing not Preview. Thanks Amy!

I have had the same issue for several months. Disabling Modern Text fixed it!
This issue has returned and the option to disable Modern Text has been removed. What is the fix now?
Hi Judy,
I responded to a similar post here. We'd be happy to take a look.
