Storyline crashes in moodle after updating

We have storyline zip in moodle and it has writable text fields which the student can print in the end of the course. After updating zip to moodle..when returning to course it showed only blank page (we removed few slides and some small changes in the content). It works if you choose start new try.. but then the student looses the content what he has wrote to those text fields.
I tested the that student leaves training example between dia 34-35 and in an update I removed those slides.. I guess storyline cant understand then what to do.. it comes a blank page. I tested with saved state and initial state settings.

Once you update the module the resume data is no longer readable by the course, typically storyline does a reset and starts from the beginning rather than hanging, a lot of LMSs now give you the option to reset the resume data when you overwrite. The only progress lost will be those partway through anyone who has completed will still be completed.
if you publish and upload a new version the 'internal' storyline resume ID is new and the existing resume data of the learner in the LMS are now ignored by storyline course
this is not a bug, this is the expected behavior
The hang is not expected behaviour it should just restart
