Tab key behavior on slide (keyboard input)
Hi All, I have a slide that user must enter their name in two text boxes, with a trigger that after both of them are populated a Continue button shows. Great, it's working fine. What's not working fine is that if one hits the Enter key on their keyboard after completing the fields, the C0ntinue button appears as normal. If they use the Tab key on their keyboard, an annoying "back to top" notice appears. I can't figure out how to turn this off...
Hi William,
If you turn off all the player tabs (menu, notes, etc), Storyline turns off the skip navigation shortcut (also known as the Back to Top button) for you, and the player setting to disable it is grayed-out.
The 'Back to top' box that you are seeing is an accessibility feature that is shown to keyboard-only users, and you'll need to make sure that no player tab is checked if you prefer to hide this box from your learners.
Hope this helps!

Hi Joe, thanks for your reply. I did as you suggested, including turning off Accessibility Controls in the Player Controls section, and the "back to top" message still appears...
Hi William,
Thanks for the update. Have you checked out this article which explains how to 'Disable the Skip Navigation Shortcut'? This is an alternative to turning off all of the player tabs in the player settings.
Let me know if this works for you!
