Why am I being told "[COURSE TITLE] is locked by another process?"

Can't quite figure this out.
If I try to open the file directly from the folder, I get this message:
But if I try and open it through Storyline, it works. Any insights?

Whenever you see a a prompt saying that your project file is locked by another process, that usually means that another application is currently accessing your project file.
This could be an application responsible for syncing your 'Work from Home Folder' to an online drive or network location, or something similar. You can try to save your project file to a different location such as your Desktop or My Documents folder, or you can use the Save As option to create a new copy of your project file that isn't being accessed by another application. Also, just a reminder that you'll want to make sure that you're working locally when making any changes to your project file.
