HeroLand- an adventure built within Storyline (and only storyline)
Hi all,
It's been an amazing year and with the latest developments from Articulate it's going to be another great one, however I wanted to show you all what can actually be done with Storyline 2 just by itself. This is more of an experiment, but to be honest would (still might) be my entry if there is a Guru challenge this year. But as things might be changing soon, I thought I'd give one last shoutout to one of the best design tools out there.
So here's the link - enjoy!
Sincerely, Rick

It is amazing I have run through it 3 times and can really appreciate the hard work and genius that went into this. So many subtleties that I had to keep running through it to catch them.
Beautiful piece of work.

Completed it. Found all the eBits. Especially love the ending where the key, fish, hair ribbon, and gear spell out HERO. Great storytelling, too!
A bow of much respect! To map out the story, the plan, design and build all the graphic elements ALL within Storyline is truly a feat in of itself. To then understand Storyline's functionalities and behaviors well enough to manipulate objects states, motion paths, and control positions with variables is compete demonstration in full mastery.
Other than that...I'm speechless. - AnthonyGossCommunity Member
This was probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen created with just Storyline. I can only imagine how many hours it took to create this. Bravo and well done!
Don't worry folks, we're going to get Richard to share plenty of how-tos on this project:-)
Here's an older and considerably more basic explanation of what Richard did:

Woot! Excellent use of Storyline features basic and advanced. Obviously, a great deal of planning, attention to detail, and time went into its creation.
