2 accounts and 1 organisation

Hi There,

My team has been utilising the free version of Articulate and building courses on there to get a sense of the experience for our upcoming projects. We were about to purchase a new account with articulate but quickly became notified that another team in our organisation has a paid articulate account. Our organisation already pays for this and we would like to utilise that account. Now, my question is this - we built a course on our free profile of articulate and shared with our paid account (plus made a copy in that profile). Once this free account is closed will the course we shared to our actual paid profile remain or be deleted?

    Hi Tiffany,

That's great to hear your team is exploring Articulate for your upcoming projects!

To answer your question, yes, the course you shared and copied to your organization's paid Articulate account will remain accessible even if you close your free account. When you share a course, it becomes a separate entity within the receiving account. Closing your free account won't affect the copy in the paid account.

    Here's a quick recap:

    • Original Course (Free Account): This can be deleted after you've migrated the course.
    • Shared Course (Paid Account): This copy remains accessible even if the free account is closed.

However, it's important to note that any collaborators you added through your free account won't have access to the course in the paid account. You'll need to re-share the course with the desired collaborators within the paid account.

If you have any further questions about migrating your course or managing collaborators, feel free to reach out to the Articulate support team https://articulate.com/support/contact. They're happy to help!
