A, B, C options in MCQs for knowledge checks

Hi all,

I've created a few knowledge check MCQs and noticed there's no A, B, C options.

Is there anyway to turn this on? In the feedback, it's easier for me to say option A was incorrect etc.. instead of repeating the whole option.

Also, I notice feedback always comes up after each attempt, but there's a retry option too. Is there any way to turn the retry off, or set a number of attempts before the feedback shows?

This is for the knowledge check questions on a page, not the exam/test MCQs at the end of a course.

Thanks

Stephen

    Hi Stephen,

Radio buttons are what you get. A, B, C are not available options.

You cannot set the number of attempts.

You cannot turn the Retry option off.

    Hey, Thanks for the reply.

What's the learning science or reasoning behind this decision?

I feel the inability to choose attempts or turn off the retry after showing the feedback doesn't really support proper learning? Also the radio button options just make it easier to identify the option in the feedback.

I have clients asking me for this so just curious what to tell them.

    Thanks

      Hi Stephen,

You will need to ask Articulate for the reasoning behind their decisions.
