Ability to group in the timeline
Hello all,
I have a suggestion for the Storyline timeline. If any of you have used After Effects or other similar Adobe tools, you're probably familiar with being able to group different objects and such as compositions. Not to be confused with grouping on the slide itself, the composition group only combines objects into a single row on the timeline. This cleans the timeline up quite a bit and makes it easier to find certain assets.
For example, I have a custom menu built on the slide with 10+ objects/buttons. This takes up 10+ spaces on my timeline. For something on every single slide, that takes up a big portion of my timeline. I'd like to be able to group it into a "composition" so all I see is one row. If I wanted to edit anything in my custom menu I could simply click on a drop-down button and see all the objects inside the composition, but collapse it back to one row when not needed.
This would be a huge quality-of-life addition to the program.
