ACCESSIBLE ALTERNATIVE IDEAS
Accessibility is a hot topic for many of us!
How are you addressing the need to provide alternative text for complex images in Rise and Storyline and the differences in screen readers?
Any helpful tips would be most appreciated!

Hi BJ,
I'd shared an experience of designing and developing accessibe e-learning (with SL) in LinkedIn. You might like to take a look the story I shared.

Hi BJ. I couldn't agree with you more that accessibility is top of mind for many people!
From a technical perspective, alt text is one of the easiest ways to improve accessibility. It takes almost no time at all to add it to graphics in Storyline 360 and Rise 360. But learning to write alt text that covers the information in a graphic in a concise way often takes a bit of practice to get right.
Page 8 of our accessibility e-book has some tips on writing useful alt text. And for more complex images, I found this article on writing alt text for data visualization incredibly helpful. A lot of the ideas in it apply to writing alt text for any complicated image, not just for data visualization. So you might find it useful regardless of what you're writing alt text for.
