AI ASST. - New Content - Upload vs "gen knowledge"
When you start, with let's say a Rise course, you can upload documents of contents {AND or OR}?? search I think it is called "general knowledge". And so yeah, that's the question. You can't do both ? Use general knowledge of AI Asst. AND/OR ? upload your own content.
And then once you begin making the course, are you able to go back somehow, and go, "you know what, i found *this* thing, and I want to upload it too". Are you able to do that? Like, maybe you already have a course and you want to retool it with new info. Now, when you generate a new block of content you can copy/paste stuff into the block, I get that. But is there a way to add to.. the Uploads of contents, after you have started?
Hope all that celebrate Thanksgiving had a good one. And those that don't .. .um, had a good one also.
Thanks!

I kinda forgot about this post, until I ran into a situation (I am "playing" with AI Asst. in the form of a course on "web accessibility" and should I upload documents or use "general knowledge"** OR could I do both?
So THE answer is: One at a time (so, "or"). But that time can by/per Block.
FYI > **General Knowledge**
From STEP 1- Generate Course Outline - Course > Start with AI. “Follow the prompts to generate a course outline using either general knowledge or source documentation.”
From STEP 2-> Generate Block – (in #2) – “If you didn't select a source, AI Assistant draws from its general knowledge on the topic.”
From Get a Head Start- "existing source content, upload it for AI Assistant’s reference. Otherwise, you can rely on AI Assistant’s general knowledge.”

You can use the AI Assistant to create content drawn only from your uploaded documents of contents.
You can also the AI Assistant to create content that is not drawn from your uploaded documents.
You can also add more documents to your initial set of uploaded documents of contents.

So the short answer would be _OR_ as in
"...drawn only from your uploaded documents of contents"
OR
"create content that is not drawn from uploaded things, which I believe is referred to as "general knowledge" content.
And then your last thing makes it sound like *if* you use uploaded documents, you can add more documents.
which is not the same as ?....
You start from "general knowledge" and then add uploads after you've started from "general knowledge".
Right?
Thanks!
