AI Avatars vs. Voice Only Narrators
Hi. Are there any AI avatars that have a matching regular voice only narrator? If so, is there a list of them that can be provided?

Hi TracyLendi-ed22 and DeckMasterFlex, you should be able to find all the same voices in Storyline since we use the same service. The only exception would be the new exclusive Articulate voices that you can currently only find in Rise, but we're currently working on adding that to Storyline.
If you can't find a specific voice in the "My Voices" tab, can you try clicking the "Voice Library" button on the upper right corner and searching for the voice there? If you still can't find it, let us know what specific voice you see in Rise, but not in Storyline so we can investigate!
Hi TracyLendi-ed22,
Thanks for reaching out! While we don't currently have a list, I'd love to learn a bit more about your workflow so I can better understand what you're trying to accomplish.
- Could you tell me a bit more about how you're using AI avatars today? What prompted you to look for a matching voice-only narrator?
- In what situations would you choose a voice-only narrator instead of an avatar?
We appreciate you sharing more about your use case. That context helps us better understand the problem you're trying to solve.

Hi! Thanks for responding. If I create an Avatar in Rise using, for example Deborah and download that video as an MP4 and integrate it into Storyline. I would like to have a "Deborah" voice available in Storyline so my avatar's voice matches the rest of my training. Right now I have to find the closest voice and which not only takes time, but is not spot on. If the Deborah in Rise had a matching Deborah voice in Storyline, that would be wonderful. I am not sure if you have a list that I can look at to see what avatars in Rise have a matching voice in Storyline.
Hello TracyLendi-ed22
Thanks for explaining your workflow! That helps clarify what you're trying to accomplish. I appreciate you sharing more details.
I can confirm that we do not have a list currently, but I will share your feedback with our product team. I do have one more question. Has needing to use a different voice ever changed how you design your courses or influenced whether you use AI avatars in the first place?
Thanks again for sharing your use case. The additional context you've provided is really valuable.
