AI Voice Changed Accent
Hello AnneLanaway,
I understand you're using AI TTS Audio with Australian Steve's voice in Rise 360, and it doesn't sound as expected. I can confirm that we have this behavior logged with our team. Happy to learn more about your specific setup!
- Do you experience this change with any other voices or just Australian Steve?
- Is this happening in more than one course, or just this one?
I noticed in your screenshot that you are using model v3 when generating audio. As a troubleshooting step, you can select an earlier version each time you generate audio.
Here’s how:
- Open the AI text-to-speech window.
- Advanced settings.
- Next to Model, select Multilingual v2.
- Select Generate to preview the voice again.
Here's a quick visual of my experience when changing models!
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, and if you have any questions!
Thanks for the response and advice.
It does occur with several of the Australian accent voices. I have tried Dee - Australian, Hannah the natural Australian voice, Lee Middle-Aged Australian Male and Paul - Australian Professional Presenter. The accents vary from American to British in v3.
It seems to be happening within any course created recently.
I have tried the steps you demonstrated, and this has worked, but I do need to tweak some of the script to get him to sound as good as v3. I make adjustments to the style exaggeration and speed and once I tweak those, it's almost perfect :)
He seems to struggle with bullet points and quotation marks haha - but it works!!
Thank you so much!!
Hello AnneLanaway,
You're welcome! Appreciate you following up and sharing your experience. Glad that switching to v2 has provided you with more consistency.
I've passed along your insight to our product team so they're aware of the bullet point and quotation mark behavior, as well as your experience with the Australian accent voices. We'll share any future updates in this thread, so all are in the loop!

Hi LucianaPiazza,
I'm having exactly the same issue with Australian voices.
I've followed your instructions to change the settings to version 2 but this isn't working in all cases.
For example, I'm currently using 'Jimbo'. The voice worked correctly in version 3 a couple of days ago but now when I try to put in another section of audio, he becomes an American. When I change to version 2, he becomes Australian but with a completely different voice!
I'm using the audio as part of a scenario and I now have half of the scenario with one voice and half with the other!
What do you suggest I do?
Thank you

Hi TrainingSt,
Thanks for reaching out!
I see Frankie posted some helpful tips here. Are you able to test if these make a difference? I'd also be interested in seeing a screen recording of this behavior if you're comfortable sharing. You can upload it here or privately in a support case!
