Allowing microphone access on embedded web app
Hi DanAdams-9ad8e6,
I'm happy to help!
Could you please share your current iframe code in this thread? It will be helpful to see the existing code along with your .story file in order to recommend placement!
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hello,
I would love to - if I knew where to find it! Could you please advise on exactly which file the iframe code can be found in? In the meantime, here is the slide/web object in question.
Thanks in advance!

Hi DanAdams-9ad8e6,
Thanks for sharing your project file. I'm sorry for the confusion. Adding the microphone tag I mentioned only works in Rise 360 because web objects in Storyline 360 don't allow the iframe code to be edited unless you add a video.
You can modify the iframe video code in Storyline 360 here and replace it with website links, but this only works for certain websites. Wikipedia, for example, will load if you place it in this iframe section, which is what I used in my test.
I can confirm that the microphone tag works if you place an iframe in Rise 360, if you'd like to consider building your course here.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for the info. I will play around with the embed video as it did indeed work for my embed link. If I have any questions regarding that I will follow up here.
On the subject of Rise - one thing I do need is a way to track user progress as I may have multiple such embeds sequentially. My intent with Storyline was to do this via a Javascript trigger listening for a signal from the embedded web app. What are my options with Rise if I have to move there?
Thanks again!
