Animation in Layers | Storyline
I am developing a storyline slide that contains multiple layers . My objective is to apply a simple fade animation so that each layer is revealed sequentially when the user clicks. Please advise whether it is possible to implement a fade animation between these layer transitions, and outline the appropriate method for doing so.
You can add a Fade Transition between the layers.
To apply the same transition to all layers, do this:
- Select all the layers.
- Select the desired settings in the TRANSITIONS tab.
- Click Apply to All.

Storyline does not support automatic transitions between layers. You can try to simulate this by adding a short fade-in animation to the objects on each layer.
For example, when the user clicks to display the next layer, these objects will begin to fade in. Thus creating the desired effect.Thank you all for your help! This has been resolved now.
