Animation in Storyline through the Morph Transition
Some time ago, PowerPoint came out with a transition called Morph that literally morphs shapes, colors, strokes, graphics, etc. from one slide to the next. In other words, if you build a design on one slide, duplicate the slide, and make changes to the shapes on the second slide, the Morph transition will smoothly deform the shapes from the first slide to the next.
This transition is POWERFUL for animation. I feel that small animations of this kind are especially important for a product like Storyline. In a sense, the ability to build animations is one of the key features that I feel is missing from Storyline. If Articulate would consider adding the Morph transition to Storyline, it would allow users to animate the graphics on the screen with triggers, and I believe that would open up new worlds of possibility with Storyline.
Is this something you all would consider adding to Storyline?

Any update to this request? I am seeing this as a need more and more. I love using all of the Articulate products, Rise and Storyline are my go to's, so this would really be a time-saver feature!

I haven't received any updates.
Same as you all I'm seeing are so many people just like us asking
Articulate to please add the Morph functionality.

Hey Staff, just following up to see if there has been any progress or updates on this request?

Hi Troy,
We don’t have plans yet for a morph transition feature, but we appreciate you letting us know this is important to you as well.
I'll be sure to update our report, and we’ll jump back in this discussion if our plans change in the future.

Very sad this is not in the plans. iSpring already fully supports Morph. It is a game changer for our team

Thanks for that info, Lesa. I think I will look at switching to iSpring.
I agree with all the posters in this thread. Failure to support Morph now makes me hesitate to recommend Storyline as a development tool, at least until that feature is added.

I would also vote for this. I just spent hours working on a powerpoint that was sent to me with the morph feature. I had to record all the morphing elements as a video in order to get the concept the SME wanted to work in Storyline. Very time consuming!!

Yes please. Been wanting this feature so much! :)

I'm adding my vote. I use the Morph transition all the time in my PowerPoint presentations for live in-classroom training. It makes the presentation much more engaging. I would definitely use this feature in Storyline if it were added.

My vote as well. The morph transition seems like obvious low hanging fruit. It always feels backwards to me when I import an excellent PowerPoint and have to strip out a feature that makes the presentation modern and engaging. It's a step in the wrong direction, design-wise. It's been nearly a year since the initial request here and I'm sorry to hear that there aren't even plans in discussion to add this feature.

Please, please, please add morph.. It changes everything. It is the primary transition I use in powerpoint that literally replaces 90% of the graphic animations I previously used - all in less time and minimal effort. I believe this is a critical miss in Storyboard. Note that the iSpring suite supports morph. I am using iSpring for now until articulate and storyboard can add this feature... the inavailability of morph really adds too much rework for us. Is there a current ETA for this?

Count me in on incorporating Morph to Storyline. I can think of some great uses for that transition.

+1 on this request. Richard Goring just showcased it in the ATD Virtual Conference and it is such a game changer.
