Landscape swipe navigation - transition challenge

Hi all!

I'd love your help if you can give it.

I'm building a course that is designed primarily to be used in landscape mode on a mobile device, and since SL360 doesn't support up/down swipes I'm trying a workaround with two large hotspots (one for the upper half and another for the lower half) that control whether the user goes forward or back a slide depending on which hotspot they drag over the other one (hopefully that makes sense).

My challenge for you is how to make it so that a different transition is used for each hotspot. Of course, I can easily set the push animation as standard and it looks like the screen inbeing swiped down - but that will look awful when the user wants to go back a slide.

Is there a way of controlling transitions via javascript perhaps and triggering it when the hotspots get moved?

Thanks in advance

Simon
