Arabic Closed Captions

I have an Arabic course that contains closed cpations. When I import my translated VTTs, the text displays LTR instead of RTL.

See the attached image for reference.

You can see the punctuation is displaying on the right side.

The onscreen text is fine as I have enable RTL in the Player.

What am I missing y'all?

    Has this issue ever been addressed? 
    My autogenerated arabic captions are still displaying with the punctuations in the wrong locations. 

    It's been 4 years since this was posted. Where's the fix storyline??
