Articulate on iPads?
Hi Team,
Was wondering how you plan to deal with the increasing amount of iPad users. I know that in my company they are running pilots with them but my Articulate courses won't run on them :( Ar...

What bob said.
- I use Articulate to build interactive experiences and animations that include audio, branching, assessments, etc... not just a slide show with audio track
- Clients don't want an alternative (dumbed down) version of the training for iPad users... they want the full deal.
- BIG pharma sales, real-estate sales, students, financial planners... they are all going iPad/tablet
Hoping Storyline HTML5 export is actually functioning by the time I need to start making tech recommendations to a few clients in early January. I am not impressed with any HTML5 products out there (looked at the captivate conversion demos... they where all broken, rapid intake is another "slideshow frame"), Lectora is the only CURRENT option I see on my radar to develop courses with interactivity and quizzes, etc. while sticking with HTML. I am hoping Storyline proves to be the better, more affordable product overall.
I'm excited about the POTENTIAL of Storyline, or even an upgrade of Articulate that supports HTML5.
- I LOVE the captivate style screen recording and variables in Storyline.
- Do NOT LOVE missing motion path animation support (which is a HUGE issue for the kinds of courses I build which often require some basic "simulation" or animation of a point along a data curve, a moving pointer on a map, etc.)
- Looking at Adobe Edge... I see no reason motion paths are not supported
- I have not yet seen how all the goodness of Storyline will actually translate to HTML5 so I'm not totally sold yet... i.g. Rapid Intake's HTML5 export is so limited I consider it nearly useless compared to what I can do with Articulate
