The behavior you described is expected if you're referring to the name next to the "Created by" text in a published Rise 360 course. 
This is because if you publish a new version of a course you don't own, the newly published version will appear under the account name of the original course owner, not the person who published the course. You'll need to send a copy of the Rise 360 course to yourself and publish it under your own account for your name to appear in the published Review 360 course.
