Articulate Rise Media Block: Inconsistent behaviour - word docs download, .pdfs open

Hi all,

I'm pretty sure this is new behaviour, but different actions are triggered for learners when selecting files to download in the media block: Word docs will download (the action I want), .pdfs will open in a new window (action I don't want, as I am receiving feedback from learners it's distracting and they are losing their place in the course).

Previously, I'm fairly sure all media downloaded when selected. Does anyone know a way I can force .pdfs to download, rather than open in a new window? There doesn't seem to be any choice nor option in the settings as to how the trigger will behave.
