Articulate Rise package shows up as blank on Moodle LMS
Hi there,
We are having problem with Rise packages as they are appearing as blank, however Articulate storyline pacakages load without any issues.
I tried you SCORM debugging and compared the Rise package debugging on Moodle and Scrom cloud both, didn't find any anomaly.
Rise package appears as blank, but if right clicked on the window and "reload/refresh frame" option is selected from the menu, it does load.
From browser dev tools, i can see the iframe with the content with id = "app" doesn't load initially when the scorm package is loaded, when "reload/refresh frame" is selected it does show up and so does the content.
any help will be appreciated.
regards
Dave

i created a test package with Rise360 and done the test on the LMS, still facing same issue.

This is strange, if we add our moodle server IP address in domain hosting as A record, it works but it doesn't work when the Moodle server is added as CNAME (server public dns name). The issue looks like with how articulate rise is using iframe.
any help here would be helpful

Did you solve the problem?

We have the same situation in moodle 4.0.6, but it does work in 4.1

We do have similar issue, replaced Scorm from Rise and seems that scorm is loading for Learners but then is blank (Moodle 4.1.5+):
The only way we've found the "fix" this error is delete scorm attempt in Moodle but can't do this for all users.

Thanks for letting us know that you're seeing this issue when updating your Rise course in your LMS. We have this documented as a possible software bug and we'll let you know as soon as we have updates.

Hi there, I've been having the same issues uploading Rise scorm packages to Moodle the last couple of months. Any help or workarounds would be appreciated.
Hi Mark,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this bug! Can you try resetting the learner's progress as a workaround and see if the updated course loads correctly?
I am looking forward to your response.

Hi Eric, thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I didn't actually have any learners' progress to reset, but I did have another play around and the following worked for me:
Delete the Scorm Activity in Moodle
Duplicate Rise course and give slightly different name
Add new Scorm Activity in Moodle with different name
Add duplicate Rise course Scorm package to Moodle activity
Don’t change Scorm ‘Appearance’ settings straight away.
(I'm sure probably only one of the steps was needed, or maybe the glitch resolved itself), but for what it's worth :-)
Thanks for sharing what worked well for you, Mark! I'm sure it will be helpful to others in a similar situation!
Let us know if you have any other questions! Have a great start to your day!

Hi Colleagues
Any help or pointers in the right direction will be very appreciated.
We are operating with moodle 4.3.3+ and using articulate rise 360 Scorm packages and running theme Edwiser REMUI version 4.3.2. The Scorm packages which we then deploy open in a new window with 100%/100% window settings.
For the most this works perfectly and have a few hundred running, but from time to time it appears that the package is launching in moodle but then ends with a white screen. This normally happens after we have deployed the Scorm and tested that it works, this is the case where a user had accessed before but also when never accessed before, is not linked to a specific role/permission.
Tested the affected Scorm packages on scormcloud and performed with no problem so the package itself is fine. It also does not appear to be a browser problem given settings to allow pop ups etc. or a role/permissions problem as is experienced by different user roles. Would be to many Scorm packages to change each and also manually resetting seems to temporarily solve the problem but with big numbers of students not workable.
Any pointers would be welcome
