Articulate Storyline 360 and PDF
I am trying to embed a PDF in one of my slides in Storyline 360 using a web object. I have my PDF file on a web server and the link works just perfect and I can see the file. Only problem I am running into is that the file is bigger than the box I want it to appear in and the PDF object is not showing any scroll bars or any way to navigate through the file. I have tried adding #scrollbar=1 to the URL path, but still no luck. I'm attaching a screenshot of what the PDF looks like in the slide to give you an idea. I've done the same think in Storyline 2 and have no issues there. Any suggestions for how to get the scrollbars to appear or resize the actual file within the web object is greatly appreciated.
Sorry that's happening, Amanda! We've seen this happen too, specifically in the HTML5 output.
Would you mind if I tested your file to verify that it's related to the bug we've reported to our team? You can share a sample file here in the thread, or click here to share it privately.

Sure thing, here is a copy of the file. Strange thing is that it is working for my team mates. It just seems to be me and the HTML5 output. The Flash output works for me. Also, I've found if I use the default player template settings it works. I've updated my 360, browser, and Adobe products but still same issue.
Hi Amanda,
Thanks for sharing your file! I published it for Web and tested it in multiple browsers, and I was able to scroll the PDF in all of the browsers I tested in. Here's a screen recording of that test.
Click this link, and let me know if you still can't scroll the PDF. Be sure to also let me know which browsers are giving you the most trouble.

That one works for me. I am using Chrome version 60.0.3112.90 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Ok, great! Are you still having trouble with scrolling when you publish the project? Be sure you upload the published output to Tempshare or any other web server to make sure that you can view the content as expected!

I'm having the same problem, has anyone found a solution yet?
Hi Kayla!
Looks like Amanda's file worked for her after all.
Could you describe what you are having difficulty with as well as sharing a .story file if we could take a look?

This happens to me when publishing from SL3 to HTML5 only. The PDF viewer is cut off and you can't scroll, save or print.
Hi Taylor - We have this reported for SL3 as well and I will add this thread to the report as we continue to investigate and track user impact.

Has a fix been found for this yet?
Not at this time Taylor.
This thread has been attached to the report so that we can update you when we can.
I wanted to share some information on how we define bugs and how we tackle them when they occur since that may be helpful.
