Audio e-learning verify

At the moment I'm working on a online awareness training,  this course has audial assistance.
The moment I'm using the "Multimedia - audio" function the software refuses to upload my audio file. It greets me with the following sentence: "Please verify the file type is an audio and try again." (screenshot at the attachment section)

How do I verify my audio fragments?

Audio type:  MPEG-4 Audio

Sincerely,

  • rename the .mp4 file to .m4a and try "Multimedia - audio - upload" again

this also works with mp4 videos, then the audio track of the video is imported into rise

  • Hi there, Annerieke,

MPEG-4 is not actually an audio file. It is related to the .mp4 video file, but it is used to describe the type of encoding.

The audio block will only accept an audio file type, like .mp3 or .wav files.
