Base layer flickering in HTML5 output

I'm late to this conversation but came across this issue today ... Lauren's solution worked! In my case, I had 2 triggers - The first, ... hide layer (this layer) when user clicks -object- ... and the 2nd trigger was to show the next layer. :)
