Best way to add background music to entire presentation
I've found some older posts regarding this, but nothing for Storyline.
I don't mind editing the audio on my own to fade down and up in my own audio editor, but is there a way to get one audio to loop through the entire presentation?
Hi everyone!
I have some great news to share. We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 74, we've included important fixes and new features.
One of the new features we've included is:
- Create immersive experiences with continuous background audio that sets the tone and keeps learners engaged.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You'll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please let me know if you have questions!

Hi Nate - Storyline does not have a playlist like in Articulate Presenter. One option might be to insert the audio in the slide master. If you do this the audio will play on every slide - the only drawback is that the audio track will restart at the beginning of each slide. This could work for you if you have the right audio track.

Has there been any progress on this? I would love to use this program, but it seems that Camtasia will suit my needs much more than this program?

Giving this a bump as it makes sense to be a standard feature by now.

Thanks! I'll try it and see how it sounds. I don't think it'll work so I may just have to use it at the beginning and end. This would be a great addition in future updates!
Hi Nate - here's a technique for looping videos on the slide masters. It will work for your audio clip, too. Like Nancy mentioned, your clip should be designed to loop so there isn't a hard stop/start each time it loops.

David and Nancy make a good point in that the audio file should loop as seamlessly as possible, otherwise it'll sound awkward every time the loop restarts.I use a software package called SmartSound, and allows me to create loops that usually have a pretty clean transition at the restart point. If you can't get your sound file to work the way you want, send me a PM and I'll give you a hand.

I agree with Nate, this should be a standard feature...

One thing you can do is add the audio track to the published html output using JavaScript. I have not tried it yet but Steve suggests one way to do it in this post. http://community.articulate.com/forums/p/25873/143142.aspx
I think there might even be an easier way than what he suggests but like I said I have not tried it yet.
Jeff, have you submitted this as a feature request yet?
Hi Sophia and welcome to Heroes!
Storyline does not yet include a background music or playlist feature - although as you'll see here it's been the discussion of a feature request. There are some other ideas and tips in this thread for how to add the background audio within Storyline.
