Button State Consistency Issue- Advice Needed
I'm working on a project with buttons. I have the button, a hover state, and a visited state. I have 19 slides with 5-8 buttons per slide. I started by developing one perfect slide and now I'm am duplicating that slide. When I change the text on the main button, the text chages on the other button, but the hover state and visited state buttons lose their text formatting, so I have to go in individually and redo the formatting. I've done this for 2 slides, but facing another 19 is daunting. Any recommendations for how I can make a change to the main button and have the other two follow suit? Thanks.
Wow - this is some awkward behavior. It feels like Text Styles are corrupt somehow. I would recommend submitting a case - https://articulate.com/support/contact/case

It sounds like this could have been caused by your initial order of operations. What steps did you use to create and edit the Hover and Visited states? For example if you added text boxes to those states instead editing the existing text, you would see this issue.

Hmmm, the text is right on the shape I'm using as a button. I'm trying it on a new slide right now. All of the buttons are correct, but when I change the title of the button, the title changes on the other two, but the formatting goes away. On the main button the text is 28pt bold. As soon as I change the text content, the other two buttons go to 24pt normal. Should I be using text boxes on top of my button shape?

Are you able to share the slide?

That's the best news! I will do that, but I'm relieved to know I'm not losing my mind!
