Cannot select an object using Tab
Hello,
I am currently working on an accessible course and I am adding alt text to graphics, shapes and pictures. I would like the alt text to be read when these objects are selected. However, I cannot select these objects using Tab nor Shift+Tab, I can only navigate the player. What should I do to ensure the course is accessible? How can I select the objects in a slide using keyboards?
Thanks,

Hello,
I am assuming that since you have added Alternate Text, that these items are also listed in the focus order for the slide. Can you confirm?

Yes Ron, they are. Still I cannot select those objects using Tab interaction, I can only select the elements in the player

Is this every slide in your project or just one?

every slide

Are you seeing this behavior when previewing as well? or just on published output? What browsers are you using to test?

Only interactive objects will take focus I cannot see if these have triggers assigned. Without triggers the objects are read using the up and down arrows, that is expected behaviour for a screen reader.

Thanks Phil, so to clarify:
Tab interaction: selects objects with alt-text on the slide ONLY IF associated to a trigger
Arrows: select objects with alt-text on the slide if they are not associated to a trigger.
Is that correct?

Yes that is about it
