Canvas LMS - Rise Files Full Screen (no extra button)
Hi all!
Is there a way I can link from Canvas LMS directly to a Rise file? I want the students to open the project full screen, as it presents much better like this. The only way to do this in Canvas is to import the SCORM file of the Rise project as an assignment, and in the assignment settings select 'open in a new tab'.
I want to now be able to link from a button in my Canvas page directly to the Rise file. It seems this is only possible if you go via the Canvas 'open in a new tab' button (see Pic 1 attached). It just seems like an unnecessary step that I'd like to remove if possible? I'd like to just link directly from the button in my Canvas page, directly to the full screen Rise file.
When I link my Canvas button directly to the link is Rise, I get the message in Pic 2 (attached).

It sounds like you meant to include screenshots, but it appears they didn't come through with your post!
No worries! If you'd like to try uploading those again, I'm sure other Canvas LMS users can share suggestions on configurations to be made within the LMS environment.
