Canvas LMS: How to force Goodbye.html to jump to next module

A Storyline 360 quiz has been uploaded to Canvas LMS as a graded external assignment (SCORM 2004 4th Edition) at the end of a module. When the user successfully completes the quiz, the goodbye.html page content automatically showed with no navigation option. As shown below, I customized the file to add a button with a hyperlink to the next Module, but when the user clicks the button, an error appears inside the iframe that was displaying that Storyline and goodbye page content. 

I tried instructions from this article to suppress the goodbye.html page, but that doesn't seem to work either.

I advice to ensure these end of module assignments either close the Storyline iframe and return to the Module directory or jump to the next module (if applicable) or exit the course at the end.
